Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and the developer of AI Keyboard ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, downloading, installing, or otherwise using AI Keyboard ("the App"), you signify your unconditional acceptance of these Terms in their entirety.

If you do not agree to any provision of these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the App and uninstall it from your device. Continued use of the App constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms as may be amended from time to time.

AI Keyboard is a custom iOS keyboard extension designed to assist users in composing, transforming, and enhancing text input through the application of artificial intelligence. The App integrates with Anthropic's Claude API (provided by Anthropic, PBC) to deliver its core functionality.

Subject to your full and continuous compliance with these Terms, the Developer hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to install and use the App solely on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, and strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes.

This license does not constitute a transfer of title or ownership of the App or any component thereof. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by the Developer.

Your use of the App must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. The following conduct is expressly prohibited:

• Using the App in any manner that violates applicable laws, statutes, regulations, or ordinances
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the App
• Using the App to produce, distribute, or facilitate content that is harmful, defamatory, obscene, illegal, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempting to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security mechanisms, access controls, or restrictions implemented in or around the App
• Engaging in any activity that damages, overloads, impairs, or otherwise compromises the integrity or availability of the App or its underlying infrastructure

The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any User found to be in violation of this section, without prior notice and without liability.

The App, including but not limited to its software, user interface design, graphics, algorithms, documentation, and all other content and features, constitutes the exclusive intellectual property of the Developer and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws of relevant jurisdictions.

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to transfer any intellectual property rights to the User. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, or exploitation of any part of the App is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal liability.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Developer expressly disclaims any warranty that:

• The App will operate continuously, without interruption, or free from errors or defects
• Any defects or errors in the App will be identified, corrected, or remediated
• The App or any data transmitted through it is free from malicious code, viruses, or other harmful elements
• The output or results produced by the App will satisfy your individual requirements or expectations

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which such damages are sought, including but not limited to claims arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to access or use, the App
• Unauthorized access to, alteration of, or interception of your data or transmissions
• The presence of malicious code, viruses, or harmful components introduced through the App
• Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in any content processed or generated through the App

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Developer and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (i) your access to or use of the App; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of any provision of these Terms; or (iii) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

The Developer reserves the right to assume exclusive control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your cost. You agree to cooperate fully with the Developer in asserting any available defenses.

The App relies on Anthropic, PBC and their Claude AI service to deliver its text transformation capabilities. In connection with your use of these features, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• Text content entered through the App is transmitted to and processed by Anthropic, PBC via the Claude API
• AI-generated or AI-transformed content is inherently probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate
• You bear sole responsibility for reviewing, evaluating, and verifying all transformed content prior to any use or dissemination
• The Developer assumes no liability for the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any content generated by the underlying AI model
• All intellectual property rights in content you submit to or generate through the App remain vested in you
• Your use of the App is also subject to Anthropic's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy

The Developer reserves the sole and absolute right to modify, suspend, restrict, or permanently discontinue the App or any feature thereof at any time, with or without prior notice. The Developer shall bear no liability to you or any third party as a result of any such action.

These Terms shall be interpreted, governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles that would require the application of the laws of a different jurisdiction.

Should any provision of these Terms be determined by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to render it enforceable, or, if modification is not practicable, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies incorporated herein by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, warranties, and understandings.

To the extent you obtain the App through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are concluded solely between you and the Developer, and not with Apple Inc. Apple bears no responsibility for the App or its content.

In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"), which is incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall govern solely with respect to matters concerning Apple's role as a distributor.
